Before starting his career in real estate, Alexander David Wisnoski (Alex) attended Sam Houston State University in Huntsville, Texas, where he graduated with a BS in Animal Science in 2012. He always had a passion for farming/ranching from growing up on his family’s property in Navasota, Texas. It was at that ranch where he found his passion for land and agriculture. After graduating, he quickly figured out how to still be involved in that aspect of land while working in the big city of Houston as an intern for a commercial real estate firm (TNRG).
As an intern at the firm, Alex worked hand in hand with assisting deals and helping facilitate transactions alongside some of the biggest dealmakers in the Houston commercial real estate market. It was that vital information and experience that propelled Alex to be the top listing agent of any first year in the entire company’s history as soon as he received his license. After his tenure and growth at TNRG, he joined Texas CRES, LLC, as they were being created in 2015.
It was only a couple of years later, in 2017, when Alex performed so well that he was asked to become a principal/partner in the firm, making him one of the youngest principals in the Houston real estate market. Since then, he has continued to grow his career and help with the Texas CRES family by coaching and mentoring some of the younger agents as they get their start.
Growing up in Houston and being an Eagle Scout, he has been able to travel a lot of this country, but more importantly, this great State of Texas, which is very handy when working in different markets. Now, he specializes in assisting estates, trusts, families, corporations, and many more with all of their real estate needs, especially pertaining to land, development, acquisitions, dispositions, and investments. What he enjoys the most is representing families because he would want the same kind of representation if it were his family!
Tyler grew up in Brookshire, Texas, a small town west of Katy. His appreciation for real estate and the outdoors began there while hunting and fishing the land around his family’s country home.
Tyler began working in the oil and gas industry in 1985 while in high school and continued through college before graduating from Texas A&M University with a bachelor’s degree in Business Management. Before starting his career in commercial real estate, Tyler was a successful business owner in the hospitality industry for 20 years. Tyler’s family originated from Albuquerque, and these ties led him to open a restaurant specializing in authentic New Mexican foods, Santa Fe Flats – NewMex Grille. He owned and operated the restaurant for 14 years and grew the business by forming and maintaining great relationships with staff, customers, vendors, and the community.
Tyler began investing personally in commercial real estate in 2013 and joined Texas CRES, LLC in 2017. He has a very strong grasp of the Texas Real estate market and trends. He has bought and sold many properties on his own behalf and specializes in land purchases and sales. He negotiates deals for clients just as he would for himself, keeping their interests in mind first and foremost. The majority of his real estate dealings are referral-based. He is in the business of creating and maintaining ongoing relationships with all of his clients.
Tyler lives with his family in the south Tomball/Cypress area. He enjoys hunting, fishing, and the outdoors. He also takes pleasure in sponsoring youth programs and volunteering his time to charitable organizations in the community.
He is a board member of the Tomball ISD Education Foundation, vice president of the Tomball Memorial Athletic Booster Club, and a committee member of the Houston Livestock Show and Rodeo.
